Kutani Hand-Painted Porcelain Shishi Lion Dish

Japanese Kutani porcelain dish of lobed triangular form, hand-painted with shishi (lion dogs) and scrolling karakusa vines in polychrome enamels and gilt. Features a four-character blue underglaze mark on the base. Measures 8" x 9". Condition: Minor wear to gilding and small chips along the rim as pictured.
