Antique Brass Bed Warmer with Turned Wood Handle

Antique brass bed warmer featuring a circular pan with a hinged, perforated lid. The lid is decorated with hand-chased floral and scroll motifs. It is attached to a long, hand-turned wooden handle with a brass ferrule. The interior shows heavy charring from use. Condition: Significant longitudinal crack to the wooden handle; small crack and verdigris on the brass lid; general wear and patina consistent with age. Unmarked.
