A vintage porcelain covered butter dish featuring a multi-colored floral rose motif on a cream-colored ground with a fine crazed glaze finish. The rectangular lid is topped with a gold-toned handle, and the matching underplate features a gilded rim. Marked "Made in Japan / Reg. No. 66280" on the base. Measures 6.5x3". Shows significant interior staining and crazing.
