Decorative wall plate featuring a Currier & Ives 'The Homestead in Winter' ceramic insert set into a solid brass frame. The central porcelain medallion depicts a snowy rural scene with a horse-drawn sleigh. Reverse features a 'Solid Brass Made in U.S.A.' label and green felt bumpers. The ceramic insert has become detached from the brass frame. Measures 11.5" in diameter. Wear and tarnish to brass surface.
