A heavy Gothic Revival brass sanctuary lamp or incense burner, featuring an octagonal body with openwork tracery and inset faceted dark cabochons. The piece is suspended by decorative chains with quatrefoil links. Inscribed "Presented by the Mens Sodality of St Peters Church." Shows verdigris and oxidation consistent with age and use. Approx. 50" h.
