A 1786 land grant document signed by Patrick Henry as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The printed and handwritten document on vellum or heavy paper details a tract of land and features a partial red wax seal. Signed "P. Henry" at the lower right. Significant condition issues including heavy creasing, staining, and large losses to the paper, particularly affecting the signature area. Housed in a 21 x 17" double-sided glass frame.
