Royal Copenhagen Storks in Nest Porcelain Dish

Small square porcelain dish by Royal Copenhagen, hand-painted with a scene of a stork family in a nest atop a roof. The piece features the characteristic blue-toned underglaze palette. Marked on the underside with the Royal Copenhagen three-tower mark, "Made in Denmark," and hand-painted numbers 583/455 X. Measuring 5 x 5", the dish shows a small chip to the rim and some surface staining on the reverse.
