Mid-century modern mantel alarm clock by Metamec. Features a wood-veneered case with brass-toned metal side accents and a circular dial under glass. The white face displays raised Arabic numerals and is marked "Metamec" and "Made in England." The reverse retains a partial retailer label for "Pleasance & Harper Jewellers." Wind-up mechanism, tested and working. Significant finish loss to the black-painted lower edge. 9" wide x 5.5" tall.
