Pair of Chinese foo dog (shi) guardian lion figures, 7" tall. Crafted from glazed earthenware with a distinctive blue and ochre drip glaze over a cream ground. One figure is depicted with an open mouth (A-un) and the other closed. Unmarked bases showing coarse clay body and kiln stilt marks. Good condition with minor glaze pops and surface wear.
