A small rectangular porcelain trinket box with canted corners, featuring a hand-painted blue and white underglaze scene of mandarin ducks among lotus blossoms. The sides are decorated with a scrolling foliate and floral motif. Marked on the underside with 'MADE IN CHINA' and Chinese characters. Measuring approx. 5x2". Shows minor surface wear and residue on the unglazed foot rim.
