Vintage Cast Iron Rooster Doorstop

A vintage cast iron rooster doorstop, standing 11 3/4" tall. This heavy, flat-back figural piece features a vibrant hand-painted finish in red, yellow, green, and gold tones. The rooster is depicted in a classic standing pose on a decorative, scrolled base with a textured green ground. The reverse is hollow-cast with a dark finish, and the base is lined with red felt. Shows minor paint wear and surface oxidation consistent with age. Unmarked.
