A decorative Chinese jian sword and matching scabbard, measuring 39" long. The stainless steel blade features etched dragon and phoenix motifs along with Chinese characters and a seven-star constellation. The hilt and scabbard are constructed from a molded cream-colored synthetic material or resin designed to imitate carved bone or ivory, featuring a taotie mask guard and floral scrollwork. Blade is marked 'Stainless China'. Shows some surface wear and oxidation to the blade.
