German Stoneware Beer Stein Pair, Made in Germany

Pair of German stoneware beer steins featuring colorful transfer-printed illustrations. One mug is cream-colored with a traditional Alpine scene of a couple and edelweiss flowers; the other is gray with a humorous illustration of a man in a red car and the German phrase 'Gen' ma hoam frag' net wie'. The gray mug is marked '0.5L' near the rim and 'Made in Germany' on the base with a handwritten '4T'. Both show minor base wear and crazing. Each measures 5" ht. and 3.25" dia.
