Two framed hand fans in custom gilt shadowbox frames. The larger (24.5 in long) features black sticks with gold scrollwork and painted romantic vignettes, with a painted leaf depicting a courtly gathering. The smaller (21 in long) features pierced sticks and a painted garden party scene. Both show typical wear; not examined out of frames.
