Thomas Mak Kon Yin Pair of Oil Paintings

A pair of black and white oil paintings by Thomas Mak Kon Yin (b. 1945). Each artwork depicts a maritime scene with traditional Chinese junk boats and figures, set against a backdrop of mountains and a city skyline. The artist utilized a painting knife technique to create a semi-three-dimensional effect. Both pieces are signed "Thomas" in the lower right and are housed in silver-toned frames with black mats. Each frame measures 13x13". The reverse of each frame includes a biographical label for the artist. Minor foxing is visible on the canvas of one painting.
