Pair of Hand-Painted Porcelain Salt & Pepper Shakers

Pair of porcelain salt and pepper shakers featuring hand-painted floral motifs with pink rosebuds and green foliage. Each shaker is accented with a scalloped gold-tone rim and a gilded starburst pattern on the top. Both pieces are marked "JAPAN" in red on the underside and include original cork stoppers. Shows minor wear to the gilding and some surface soiling on the bases.
